[kepler-dev] kepler release telecon agenda update

Something has come up, so I won't be able to attend. I don't take
missing this meeting lightly, but my other obligation has higher priority.

Here's my position:

We spent time at Davis doing some planning, we should follow through
with those plans promptly. Significant GUI work was not in scope
at our meeting at Davis. We should complete 2.0.0 soon, possibly
skip the configuration changes and move on to a well designed GUI
in the next release.

My position on the GUI is that Eclipse and Netbeans both deal with
user supplied configuration that changes the menus and panes of the
application. We should develop a brief requirements document for
the GUI and then stand on the shoulders of giants and reuse the
work of those that come before us. We might not use Eclipse or
Netbeans, but we should evaluate our requirements and what is
available.

The Triquetrum project encompasses this GUI work and I'd like to
get 2.0.0 and Ptolemy II 8.0 out so that we can work together on
the GUI.
