Here's the summary...

Matt

*  EcoGrid group
       o Decision to use LSID identifiers for all objects on EcoGrid,
         which means we'll need to do some re-implementation of the
         already-implemented interfaces

* KR/SMS group
       o Continued work on Growl interface
       o Discussion of how to best facilitate creation of ontologies by
         domain scientists, difficulty of using OWL for this
             + Started exploring the use of Concept Maps for this sort of
               visualization

* Kepler group
       o New search capability for actors includes ontology-driven search
         checked into Kepler on branch ONTOLOGY_PRELIM

* Taxon group
       o Continued work on taxon exchange schema and the name service
         support of the schema
       o Several manuscripts in preparation

* BEAM
       o Preparing for September workshop
