[seek-taxon] SEEK Taxon fall meeting

Hi All:
 
I feel we can forgo a dedicated meeting this Fall for Taxon in addition
to the time we will have together at the all hands meeting in Santa
Barbara.  There are no large issues our initiatives pending within the
group and with the possibility of some informal talks at TDWG, it seems
like there will be ample time to catch up on current status and for
planning for the final year of the project.

	Hi Folks

	 

	We never did decide on where and when we would have our meeting
scheduled for the fall. I'm in the USA 3 times over the next few months
and really can't travel a 4th time...

	I'm going to Pat Gensel's meeting in NC next week, then we have
TDWG - where we have 2 presentations. TDWG starts on Sunday the 15th
October and runs through to Saturday the 21st (maybe Sunday the 22nd)
October. I need to be back in Edinburgh on the 26th October. Would it be
possible to arrange to have the SEEK Taxon meeting either in Kansas or
in NC (Sunday), Monday 23rd, Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th am. ? The
next Time I'm back in the US is for the Ecoinformatics conference and
SEEK all hands in Dec.

	 

	If we can't make these dates in October then I'm gong to have to
send my apologies to the SEEK taxon fall meeting - sorry about that.

	 

	Could we please make a decision on this so I can get flights
arranged.
