I just committed the first draft of a talk I'll be giving at SDM in 
Chicago tomorrow.  You might find it intersting for the BEAM meeting.  I 
did a little overview of the semantic type concept, using semantic 
labels, and the fit between AMS, KR, SMS, and EcoGrid.
