[seek-kr-sms] ontology

Hi folks,

I was just pointed towards a treasure trove of work on ontologies on the IEEE
site, in connection with their standard for a shared upper ontology (SUO),
with semantics based on ideas derived from Barwise & Seligman's information
flow framework (IFF) and my theory of institutions.  The URL is

and perhaps the most interesting part of it is the most recent (not yet set
in concrete as a standard), at

	http://suo.ieee.org/IFF/work-in-progress/

I would be curious to know what people think about all this, it's actually
quite new and surprising to me.
