[seek-kr-sms] OWL question

Hi Manu -

Yes you can. It is entirely non-obvious and there has been a ton of traffic
on the subject on the Protege-owl mailing list. Using the default Protege
import mechanism doesn't do what you want, as you found out.

David Kaplan has produced some instructions for doing what you want:
http://erizo.ucdavis.edu/~dmk/notes/Protege+OWL+Imports.html. I think this
should get you going ok. You need a recent Protege 2.1 beta and the 1.1
beta owl plugin.

Note also the use of ont-policy.rdf file to allow you to access local copies
of imported ontologies. Here's Holger's original msg about that:
http://protege.stanford.edu/mail_archive/msg07547.html

Hopefully this will help. If you need some further clarification, don't
hesitate to ask.

Rich
