For SDSC site, I have two places for ecogrid query.
Official :
http://orion.sdsc.edu:8080/ogsa/services/org/ecoinformatics/ecogrid/EcoGridQ
ueryInterfaceLevelOneService
Testbed:
http://sasa.sdsc.edu:8080/ogsa/services/org/ecoinformatics/ecogrid/EcoGridQu
eryInterfaceLevelOneService

Unfortunately the machine 'orion.sdsc.edu' somehow crashed very often these
days. So I would suggest using
the 'sasa' machine for Ecogrid's SRB system.

In the meantime, is there a stable URL I can use for ecogrid query without
registry?
