[seek-dev] initial info of OGSA-DAI

... just thought I'd mention that I had a recent talk in Edinburgh with
Denise Ecklund of the Edikt team - http://www.edikt.org - another
Edinburgh e-Science project based on OGSA-DAI, whose focus is on
seamless linking of heterogeneous knowledge. Among many interesting
things, she told me that her team is evaluating various open source
platforms as possible back-ends and will produce a report on SRB
highlighting pros and cons of using it with edikt and other eScience
projects. She's now fully aware of Seek's goals and she'll forward the
report to us when their evaluation is done. I encouraged her to make
sure that her community keeps in touch with ours for feedback and mutual
benefit.
