Hi Bill and Deanna,

I've been working fast and furiously for the past two weeks on the
workflow editor trying to get it working for your meeting next week.
I've got an early version working that does allow you to create crude
workflows in ptolemy. It is not streamlined and is still very much in
development but it does work.

Right now, it runs on my development environment in linux so it will
take me a few hours to a day to get it bundled and working on windows.
Unfortunately, I cannot work this weekend due to a previous engagement
so I'll have to get this done on Monday. If I'm not mistaken, your
meeting starts Tuesday the 5th. Is this going to be too late for you to
be able to use the program? What are your plans for using the
application? How many people will be using it? I can be available for
a phone call on monday afternoon or tuesday sometime if need be.

I'll try to get it packaged up and working ASAP on Monday and I'll let
you know then where you can get it.

If anyone wants to play with this, you will need to have ptolemy II
installed, then checkout the CVS module seek/projects/ams and run 'ant
vrun' to start vergil. Note that this has only been tested on linux as
of now.

let me know if you have any questions.

chad
