GeoVista may be of interest to the SEEK AMS layer. 
Here is some info:

    GeoVISTA Studio is an open software development environment designed
    for geospatial data. Studio is a programming-free environment that
    allows users to quickly build applications for geocomputation and
    geographic visualization

Analytical pipelines once again!

Maybe we should look into Geovista and see whether it (or parts of it)
can be useful and used together with PtolemyII.
