LTER server directory structure

Ed,
Thank you very much for putting together a detailed description of
your problem. I think I have it figured out due to the details that you
provided.

Apparently, the problem is due to a single character in your data
file! --- namely the 'degree' character in the title row for the
'Temperature" column. If you replace the degree symbol with 'deg' (or
simply remove the symbol) Morpho should run properly when you click the
Finish button. (At least it does for me.)

We ran into a similar problem once before and were just discussing
it yesterday. Some editors do not encode special characters (like the
degree character) properly, even though they can be displayed. (In this
case 'properly' means in unicode, which Morpho is supposed to handle.)

So we need to modify Morpho to filter such special characters and
handle them properly. In the mean time, if you avoid using such
characters Morpho should operate OK.

Let me know if this does not solve your problem. And thank you very
much for the time involved in carefully documenting how the problem
occurred. (Please feel free to report any additional problems that may
come up
