Error a non-cardinal flow direction has been encountered

http://invest.ecoinformatics.org/discuss/tier-1-sediment-retention/57541666/722905783

I'm running the soil loss model in InVEST 1.005 and I've gotten this
same error message running the model on two different geographic
locations. It happens during the "Creating hydrology layers....."
portion the error says: Creating hydrology layers... Creating
hydrology layers... Error: A non-cardinal flow direction value (3) has
   been encountered in
   C:\WorkSpace\sediment\Invest_Inputs\tanzania\Hydro_layers\Flow_dir
Error processing hydrology layers Error running script <type
'exceptions.Exception'>: Failed to execute (1_Soil_Loss). End Time:
   Wed Jul 06 23:42:30 2011 (Elapsed Time: 34 minutes 50 seconds) What
can I do to fix this?
