Apologies if you get this email more than once.  The KNB server 
(knb.ecoinformatics.org) will be upgraded tomorrow night (Saturday, Oct. 
9th) after 7 PM PDT.  This will necessitate approximately 4 hours of 
downtime.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Please 
let us know if this time absolutely will not work for you.

After the upgrade, the KNB Metacat will be at version 1.9.3 which fixes 
several bugs in the current version.  Please see 
http://knbvm.ecoinformatics.org/software/metacat/README.txt for a 
complete list of fixes in this release.
