Hi gang. The surf must really be up, cause theres been ZERO traffic on eml .
Im afraid that with the LTER workshop coming up we are at a critical
decision point. We had a meeting yesterday and decided that if we had some
assurance that beta9 is going to look pretty much like the files i
distributed in my last email, then we have just barely time to convert our
software over to those schemas prior to the workshop. If there are
substantial objections to those files, then its probably a sign that we have
more discussion facing us and will thus have little alternative but to
conduct the workshop with our software as it is based on the previous files
we had which as you know leaves the asu and nceas tools less compatible than
they will be under the final. Have you all reached any decisions as the
timetable for converting morhpo?

Does anyone have a comment on the files i sent around? I have been reluctant
to check them in as they contain some pretty unilateral edits in order to
get everthing consistent with how we said we were going to do it and to get
the nesting done in what i thought was a least complicated way. If someone
can tell me how to put them in as a branch ill do it so that they arent
floating free....
