[kepler-users] latest stable branch & Kepler integration

What is the latest stable branch of Kelper? Is it 2.1 or anything else?

Is it possible to integrate Kepler in any existing software? Has anybody already done that? What was there experience? Any pain-points?
Any pointers will be of real help.
