Hi Corinna,

  Thank you for you feedback. You are right, 'Database Query' actor will not do update. Sorry for this inconvenience, there is a 'Database Writer' actor, which will do updates. Though, I have not tried it myself. If Ptolemy actors are working fine in your workflow then you are set.

HI Madhu,

thanks for the example. But if I am not mistaken the 'database query'
actor only allows select queries. When I try to run an update query it
tells me that it can't change data in the database. But the ptolomy
actors Christopher pointed out are working well for what I want to do.
