[kepler-users] No menu bar in Kepler 1.x

Hi Anne,
In Kepler 2.0 under the Mac, the Kepler Menu options are
at the top of the Window, which is the standard place for
menu items on the Mac. Under Kepler 1.0 on the Mac, the
menu items where above the Window. Under Kepler 1.0 or 2.x
under Windows, the menu items would be above the window.
I've converted your png to a pdf and annotated it with the
location of the menu items.
Also, it looks like you are running Kepler.2.x.
In the window on the left of your attachment, I can see
[run] loading OS Extensions for OS Mac
The above line only occurs in Kepler 2.x and it indicates that
the code that places the menu items at the top of the screen
is running.
I can easily understand your confusion if you have used Kepler-1.0
or Kepler-2.x under Windows and then tried Kepler-2.x on the Mac.
It is an oddness of the Mac UI. I'm not sure I like it, I don't
much like menu choices, but I prefer them to be associated with
the Window in which I'm working. At least the Mac look and feel
is better than what ever happened to MS Office 2007 under Windows.
Yecch.
