Hi Subhav,
Most Globus toolkit only supports *inx system with a few exceptions
(http://www.globus.org/faq.php#windows). So I think usually those globus
actors, including GridFtp, only support *inx system.
BTW, I'm working on a separate module, called globus, in Kepler 1.x.
One actor in this module, called GlobusWSJob
(https://code.kepler-project.org/code/kepler/trunk/modules/globus/src/org/kepler/actor/globus/gram/GlobusWSJob.java),
can submit jobs from windows. The prerequisite is having ws-core, like
http://www-unix.globus.org/toolkit/survey/index.php?download=ws-core-4.0.7-bin.zip,
installed at client end.
Another note for globus actors is that the back capability of Globus
toolkit is not very good. So users may need to replace jars current used
in Kepler to interact with globus servers with different versions.
Best wishes
Sincerely yours
Jianwu Wang
