[kepler-users] Vista Problems

Hi Kenneth,
I am sorry to say that no one here has any experience with running
Kepler under Vista. Frankly, Vista users seem to quite rare around NCEAS
and UC Santa Barbara. We don't even have a Vista machine to test the
installers on! I am interested if others are having problems (and we
clearly need to dig into this issue).
With regard to setting the jre, if you are launching Kepler using
'kepler-1.0.0beta3.exe' you can set the jre by editing the file
'kepler-1.0.0beta3.lax'. Open the *.lax file in a text editor and find
the appropriate line (see below)
# LAX.NL.CURRENT.VM
# -----------------
# the VM to use for the next launch
lax.nl.current.vm=jre\\bin\\java.exe
