[kepler-dev] Does Kepler has a capability of managing input/data/transactional data for re-use in a distributed environment?

Dear Colleague:

Some workflow engine has a capability of managing input/data/transactional
data for re-use in a distributed environment, for example DAGMan.

This can avoid unnecessary data transfer or use the "closest" dataset.  

anyone can let me know whether Kepler has such similar
concept/mechanism/implementation?
