In the last Kepler 2.4 call it was suggested I just use JFileChooser when OS X
10.8 and Java 1.6 is detected, since this is the only scenario we've thus far
found that causes this JVM crash. Attached is a patch to PtGUIUtilities that
does this. Is this ok with you Christopher?
