Possibly related: my Kepler Mac and Windows builds, very near HEAD, seem fine at the moment, but on linux at HEAD I cannot drag-instantiate an actor, I get an XmlException. I've filed a bug: http://bugzilla.ecoinformatics.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5402
