        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: core

By default, Kepler keeps certain data in hsql dbs, run as servers. If someone
knows your ip, your servers are up, and you're not running a firewall, they can
connect and delete your data.

The hsql 2.0 docs have this section:
http://hsqldb.org/doc/2.0/guide/listeners-chapt.html#listeners_acl-sect
