I've been looking at this all morning and I think we should punt on this until
after 2.0.  We basically need to use the kepler 1.0 cache code to read the
objects in the cache, then inspect the contents and update the 2.0 cache with
the objects that we want.  Getting the 1.0 code into 2.0 so that we can call it
is going to be difficult to do without messing stuff up.  I'd rather just do
this in a separate utility after the release.

If anyone else has any other ideas about how to do this, I'm all ears.
