Can you authenticate with valid credentials?
Otherwise, I'm confused why this is a bug - you entered a fake
username/password and were not able to authenticate. Do you just want a better
error message? It is a known (and annoying) bug that using an invalid username
will take a VERY long time to come back from authentication - but that's on
Metacat, not Kepler.

I've seen that axis message before, but I do believe it's going to the correct
server (dev).
