I started to design the second option above this morning to figure out how
difficult it would be to do.  Turns out it was super easy, so I just went ahead
and did it.  If the performance is not good enough and we can think of a better
solution it will be easy to delete and update it to whatever newer system we
want.  For now the Component Library search is pretty fast again.  I will wait
a little while before remerging the results into a single tree since the
individual results makes it easy to see what is happening.  Once we're
satisfied with it I'll remerge the results into one tree.
