After selecting items of interest from a workflow model, you will loose those
selections if you close Kepler. We need to persist those selections when we
save the Report Layout (ROML). We'd also need to load them back when we open a
ROML. That is unless we abandon the whole Items of Interest approach in favor
of a filtered model outline (see bug #3994)
