Hi,
I try to compile new kepler actors using eclipse but i get following
errors,
Compiling 19 source files to /Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/
build/classes
[javac] /Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/build/src/org/
earth/ArrayColumn.java:7: package ptolemy.actor.lib does not exist
[javac] import ptolemy.actor.lib.Transformer;
[javac] ^
[javac] /Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/build/src/org/
earth/ArrayColumn.java:8: package ptolemy.actor.parameters does not
exist
[javac] import ptolemy.actor.parameters.PortParameter;
[javac] ^
[javac] /Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/build/src/org/
earth/ArrayColumn.java:9: package ptolemy.data does not exist
[javac] import ptolemy.data.ArrayToken;
so, i check the build.xml and i add some echo statement into it. The
PTII path is not defined correctly. CLASSPATH as follows,
/Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/build/classes:/Users/turuncu/
Documents/workspace/kepler:/Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/
configs:/Users/turuncu/Documents/workspace/kepler/lib:/Users/turuncu/
Documents/workspace/kepler/lib/images:/Users/turuncu/Documents/
workspace/kepler/build/kepler-configs.jar:/Users/turuncu/Documents/
workspace/kepler/build/kepler-icons.jar:/Users/turuncu/Documents/
workspace/kepler/${env.PTII}/lib/diva.jar:/Users/turuncu/Documents/
workspace/kepler/${env.PTII}/build/ptolemy-doc.jar:/Users/turuncu/
Documents/workspace/kepler/${env.PTII}/build/classes:/Users/turuncu/
Documents/workspace/kepler/${env.PTII}/build/src
as you can see contents of PTII variable (${env.PTII}) is not defined.
I set KEPLER and PTII environment variables but the problem still
exist. I also follow instructions in kepler page for eclipse
development.
PS: I am using mac os leopard and eclipse 3.3.1.1
best,
