[I removed ptolemy-hackers from the cc list here, once we get a fix,
we can post it to ptolemy-hackers]
It looks like the problem is in the cvs head as well for me under the
Mac.
I suspect that I merged something from the beta branch on to the cvs
head, I'm looking into it now.
Offhand, does anyone know how to get Eclipse to use cvs to check out a
tree from a particular date? From the command line, this would be
cvs -D 2004/06/03 update
The Mac I'm using does not have command line devel tools like make and
cvs installed, so I'm using Eclipse.

I did try jdk1.5 and the problem was fixed. I'll try to cvs head today.
