[kepler-dev] Latest version of Kepler - Installation

We could consider an alpha2 release that basically incorporates the PTIV
integration, but not much new has happened in kepler to otherwise
merit a release. We are in the middle of designing and implementing the
data access components after having tried our initial prototypes in the
alpha1 release, and none of that stuff will be working until our planned
milestones for late summer/early fall. At our last meeting we agreed
that October was the target date for much of this new work, including
the incorporation of the ontology-based browsing and the data access
changes, to be released. Is there a compelling reason we should release
now, especially given that several things are broken in the code at the
moment?
