distinct "Names". Candidates 7 & 8 are orthographic variants of 4 & 6 (respectively). I'm not sure whether botanists would consider Candidates 9 & 11 as distinct "Names" (can a botanist please comment?), but even if they did, candidates 10 & 12 would be considered orthographic variants.
