Thanks for the status reports this week.  I have summarized them and 
posted them on the prototype website here:

Here's the summary if you don't want to read the individual reports:

*  Taxon group
      o Question has arisen about how linking is modeled in the Taxonomic
        Exchange Standard
      o Reworking protype implementation fo name service
      o Thau creating user authentication module (need to discuss with
        Tekell and EcoGrid ASAP)
      o Peer review module being developed

* Kepler group
      o UI design discussions ramping up
      o Presenting Kepler and SMS stuff at SSDBM in Greece
        (Berkley/Bowers)
      o New nightly build/test system in development

* EOT group
      o New website authentication working, just about ready to deploy
      o Organizing training workshops for Fall

* SMS/KR group
      o New Java API being developed for accessing Sparrow from Kepler
      o Working on Growl UI and capabilities
      o Working on ontology for biodiversity indices
      o Working on paper regarding the ant data prototype

* EcoGrid group
      o New resultset implemented for Metacat, DiGIR, SRB
      o Working on data query design and interfaces

* BEAM group
      o Putting data in SRB for later access through EcoGrid
