I wold also like to add (probably as an item for the october meeting) 
querylevel 3. we now have several projects at asu (mine as well as some 
people in the CS department) that have build web services for providing query 
capabilities to large database archives (sql and spatial). In addition, we 
just proposed to the NSF planning review panel that establishing a standard 
for remote data query is something we would like to do as a pilot development 
project.  id like to see seek flesh out this spec so i can encourage these to 
follow some standards that tie with the rest of what we have done.
