LTER server directory structure

Ed,
Are the data packages that you are trying to create large? How big are
the data files that are bing imported? Is the butterfly flapping? When
you get to the last screen of the "New Data Package" wizard, are you
checking the "Save package to Network?" checkbox? Sometimes operations
can take an unusually long time in Morpho, especially with medium sized
or large data files, and especially if you are also loading the data to
the network. Is it possible you are simply not waiting long enough for
the operation to finish? How are you distinguishing between "nothing
happens" and "stuff is happening but invisibly and slowly"? Is there an
error message somewhere, or a crash?
Any other details you might be able to send would help a lot. It wasn't
even totally clear from your email what you were trying to do exactly.
Thanks for the info and feedback. Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of
this problem quickly. If worse comes to worse we might have to watch you
do this over vnc to see the problem in action.
