Rather than maintain a copy of this class in the src/exp directory, it should
be included in in the ptolemy project.  AKA "folded into" the pII tree.
The class has been appropriately parameterized to behave as it originally did
unless there is a "_multipleDocumentationAllowed" configuration parameter
found.
