[kepler-dev] What is COG

They were associated with Jagan's work on Griddles, importing the Grid
stuff. The problem was with version incompatibility -- we had a version
of GT3 in the kepler lib dir to support GT3 actors, and Jagan wanted to
use GT4. After several conflicting checkins, he added the cog dir
outside of the lib/jar so they wouldn't conflict. This was not an ideal
situation, and one which I've wanted to reverse for a long time. But it
will require some investigation to see how it could be refactored to fit
into our build better.

Ilkay worked with Jagan and might have more complete information that I.
