[kepler-dev] Changes in BrowserDisplay actor

Hi Efrat,
We are using the BrowserDisplay actor in an example workflow in the
Kepler Getting Started Guide (to display an image). It turns out that
there was a problem with it not recognizing the default browser on a
Mac. I made some changes to the source to use some new open source code
for launching any default Browser for Windows/Macs/Linux.

The changes seem to work fine, but since the BrowserDisplay actor is
a geon actor originally written by you, I thought I should ask if I
'broke' anything GEON might be using the acror for ! (I hope not, but
one never knows ;-)

My changes have been checked into CVS and the lines I changed/added
are marked with comments containing "Dan Higgins". Please let me know if
I broke anything!

Thanks,
Dan

Christopher - I tried your suggestion of using the PT BrowserLauncher
class and could not get it to open a *.PNG file (on Windows). The newer
code at

http://www.centerkey.com/java/browser/

seems to work, however. (I have used the Ptolemy launcher to successfully launch PDF, however!
