Hi,
I just tried compiling on a Mac OSX Version 10.4.8 with 512 MB RAM,
after checking out the latest versions of Ptolemy and Kepler from CVS -
The compile worked OK (i.e. I was unable to duplicate you problem !) I
was using java version 1.5.0_06.
I did notice that the number of files being compiled is different
than you give (your message says 974; my machine listed on;y 889), so we
may not be compiling the same thing (I was using 'ant ptolemy
buildkarlib run-dev)
