[kepler-dev] Problem building Kepler

Hi Bertram,

The easiest way is to go to
http://chess.eecs.berkeley.edu/ptexternal/#readonly
and follow the instructions for a read-only cvs account.

Basically, you request access to ptexternal workgroup, I'll approve it
and then you can access to the read-only cvs password at
http://chess.eecs.berkeley.edu/ptexternal/private/2.html

Then do:
cd c:/directoryofyourchoice
cvs -d :pserver:ptdevel at gigasource.eecs.berkeley.edu:/home/cvs/cvsanon login
cvs -d :pserver:ptdevel at gigasource.eecs.berkeley.edu:/home/cvs/cvsanon co ptII

Afterwards you'd need to update the $PTII env path to the local PTII CVS directory.

Then from cygwin use the following commands:
$ cd $KEPLER

$ ant -f build-ptolemy.xml clean

$ ant clean ptolemy run

Let us know if there are still any problems,
Best,
Efrat

  Hi:

  I just updated my Kepler cvs and did an 'ant clean'.

  The system current doesn't build however (for me).

  Does anybody have seen this error below before or else know what is
  broken?

  thanks!

  Bertram
