Hi Ilkay,

I don't think anyone intended for files written by us to be jar'ed and
put into lib/.  I think we all agree those files should be somewhere in
src/.

Since UUIDGen.java is not created by us, it seems to fall under the same
category as the jar files currently in lib, such as xml-apis.jar.  The
only difference between UUIDGen and xml-apis is that the author of
UUIDGen didn't distribute it as a jar file.

I agree with you completely that in-house code should be in src/, and
not jar'ed and put in lib/.
