    Hi, Aimee - It is intended to be Kg per year, the total amount that
   is allowed to arrive at a point of measurement. Within the code we are
   calculating retention by Kg per grid cell. Then we take the annual
   load, divide it up between the total number of cells in the watershed
   and subtract the result from the retention on each cell, and this
   final output is expressed in kg/cell. We do not do any translations
   for kg/ha for annual load. ~ Stacie
