    Nasser, thanks for the quick response. How would you like to receive
   the files? Can you provide an email address so that I can pass on
   using YouSendIt. I checked the intermediate files, and there is no
   charvestascii.asc file created. The most recently created file before
   the error is freqcascii.asc. I also identify another issue in the
   resampling of the land cover dataset to the selected resolution. My
   land cover data is at 250m resolution. If I select 2000m to speed
   things up, the lc_res_cur values are not correct. For example. the
   border area between class 15 and class 4 at 250 m can become many
   different classes in the resampled lc_res_cur dataset. Is it possible
   that instead of resampling using nearest or majority (which is
   appropriate for thematic data) another setting may be used. Thanks,
