surprise..
morpho creates quite a bit of "references".

to date, im unable to understand the use of
references beyond saving some time at data
entering (today, saving time at data entering is
what we do using ajax on cloud based tools)

there is no relational functionality implemented
with the use of EML references. these references
had some potential as cross-document relational
instruments.

i think peter mccartney had some ideas on how
to implement full relations across separate
EML docs, sort of like mimicking the local
relational model - but without proper momentum,
the effort succumbed to the lively & overly dynamic
vetting process of eml-dev. today, implementing
any relational use in EML is more like fitting those
square pegs to nice round holes -- semantics is
another hope, and we know how far we got with
that too. but fear not, we'll keep going at it -
resistance is futile.

references en EML seem to confuse the hell out
of many of us - a corpse without soul.

cheers,
inigo
