Hi Martin,

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 'capture', but we have a
middleware application called Metacat
(http://knb.ecoinformatics.org/software/metacat/) that will allow you to
upload EML documents, store and search them, and display them online
through a configurable web interface. Metacat runs our main KNB web
site (http://knb.ecoinformatics.org) containing about 12,000 EML
documents, and runs other information management systems throughout the
world (a partial list is at
http://knb.ecoinformatics.org/community.jsp). Metacat is free and
open-source (licensed under the GPL), so you could adapt it to the uses
you would like. We support a servlet interface, a web services
interface (EcoGrid), and several client libraries (java, perl, ...), so
you should be able to interface it with CMS systems if you want.

Hope this is helpful.

Matt
