digestor is a bit of a crude name.  How about "loader"?

org.ecoinformatics.eml.loader.parser
org.ecoinformatics.eml.loader.download
org.ecoinformatics.eml.loader.database

This is an improvement but still not totally great. Suggestions welcome.
