EML metadata

Hi Cheryl,

We are in the process of converting LTER metadata into EML and the
importing it into the knb metacat.

Here are some url's for sites that have dynamicly generated eml:
Georgia Coastal Ecosystem:
http://gce-lter.marsci.uga.edu/lter/asp/db/data_catalog.asp
Andrews Experimental Forest:
http://www.fsl.orst.edu/lter/data/mastercatalog.cfm?topnav=137
North Temperate Lakes:
http://lterquery.limnology.wisc.edu/index.jsp?project_id=LTER1

The Georgia Coastal metadata is 100% valid eml, the Andrews metadata is
also valid but may have some minor problems, the North Temperate Lakes
metadata is close to valid eml but not yet complete.

In a separate email, I will send you eml documents that we (LTER
Network Office) have converted from legacy text-based metadata from
several LTER sites.

Let me know if there are questions that you have.

David
