what do you come up with for the dimensions of these units?  I had to do
the algebra to figure them out and my algebra skills are pretty bad, so
let me know what you think they should be.

if two unitTypes have the same dimensions, they should be merged.  I'll
look at this.

we don't really need the abbreviations because we don't use them in the
enumeration for unit.  Maybe I'll just nuke them if they are going to be
confusing.  I just don't want to deal with putting escaped alpha
characters into the dictionary at this point.  Anybody care if there are
no abbreviations in the unitDictionary?
