Hi all.
sorry for the long silence. As you may have guessed, it has taken us longer
than we expected to get this very major set of changes in eml ready. the
nceas group has just posted a package with beta 9 at
http://knb.ecoinformatics.org/software/eml. We are still facing a few late
evenings finishing modifications to code and stylesheets but im optimistic
that we will have a very productive workshop.
We will be going over the changes associated with this at the workshop, but
whatever time you have to look the files over will be well spent. there are
still some known problems with a couple areas including literature and
physical but they do not affect what we will be working on at this point.
i have posted a web page with workshop info and a draft agenda at
http://caplter.asu.edu/data/metadata/workshop062002.htm.
Please email me if you have any specific issues that you fear won't be
covered and i will see that its addressed. I will update this page monday
and try to put in some of the summary info on the last workshop for you.
Looking forward to seeing you all next week.
