The Knowledge Network for Biocomplexity (KNB) project has released a new
version of Morpho (1.2.0), a data management software system for
ecological and environmental data. Morpho is metadata-driven, based on
Ecological Metadata Language, and incorporates both network and local
modes of operation. With Morpho, scientists can document and manage
their own data, share theur data with colleagues or the general
community, and search for existing data on the KNB.
This release of Morpho incorporates substantial user interface
improvements based on feedback from earlier users. New features for
editing data, and improved display of metadata are just some of the
features you'll find in Morpho 1.2.0. Morpho is released under a GPL
license, and you can download Morpho from the KNB website
(http://knb.ecoinformatics.org).
